First born to a civil engineer, Menelik was born and raised around construction in Addis Ababa , Ethiopia . He immigrated to California in 1981 before making Atlanta his home in 1996. While living in the States, he obtained his degree in Business Management and a certificate in Computer Technology. Since relocating to Atlanta , he has obtained his certification as a realtor.

He equally enjoys working with first time buyers as he does with seasoned buyers and sellers.
